Looking for an easy dessert recipe for the 4th of July? Try this yummy and patriotic treat! Strawberries filled with homemade cream cheese frosting and topped with a blueberry make for the perfect one bite, no bake dish.

 20 Large strawberries
 20 Blueberries
 8 oz Cream Cheese
 3 cups Powdered Sugar
 ¼ cup Butter, softened
 1 tsp Vanilla
 1 pinch Salt

Wash strawberries and blueberries and place on a paper towel to dry.

While fruit is drying, prepare cream cheese frosting. Add butter and cream cheese to mixer and beat until combined and fluffy.

Add vanilla, a pinch or two of salt and slowly add powdered sugar. Add about 1/4 cup at a time to avoid a mess! If you'd like your frosting to be sweeter vs. tangier, add more sugar. Combine with mixer.

Pat any remaining moisture off of the fruit. Cut the tops off of the strawberries.

Using a small melon-baller, or carefully with a paring knife, scoop out the inside of the strawberry. Pat the top dry again. The frosting will stay best on a dry surface.

Fill a gallon sized zipper storage bag with the frosting and cut the tip off of the bag to pipe the frosting. I made 20 strawberries with this recipe, but there is plenty of leftover frosting to make more!

Pipe strawberries full of frosting and swirl it around the top as well. About 1/2 inch of frosting should sit nicely on top of the berry.

Top with a blueberry and repeat with the rest of your berries!
