Father’s Day: 10 Unique Gifts
Updated May 2022 September 2023
Father’s Day is coming soon and given the weird year we are in there is a good chance your usual traditions won’t be happening hopefully you are finally able to get back to your pre-Covid traditions (or at least close!). Here are 10 unique Father’s Day gifts you can get for the dad in your life without having to leave your house!
Affliliate links appear in this post. I may make a commission from your purchase with no extra cost to you!
1) For the Dad joke enthusiast
Do you follow @thedad on Twitter? It’s a dad joke palooza daily. If that sounds like your dad (or your significant other) look no further than their shop-https://shop.thedad.com/collections/gifts. You pretty much can’t go wrong!
2) For the dressy Dad
One of the first gifts E ever picked out for Chaos Dad was a pair of flamingo dress socks. He still wears them proudly and his collection of funky dress socks has grown. These socks allow you to add your own picture(s) to the design and the company will do all of the cropping for you! We bought these a few years ago and they are still kickin’ (I couldn’t help myself)!
3) For the Dad who likes something homemade
Check out this tool box card template from http://www.123homeschool4me.com. Not only will Dad love the heart that went into it, but it’s free!
4) For the Dad who can take a joke
This onesie doesn’t really need explanation! “I’m your Father’s Day gift, Mom says your welcome”.
5) For the clean freak Dad
Start an account for Dad on the Grove Collaborative (Updated 9/23- (not currently an affiliate). Grove Collaborative is an online shopping site for natural cleaning, home and personal products.
6) For the extravagant Dad
Full disclosure- I have definitely not tried this grill out. I was honestly curious as to what the most expensive free standing grill available on Amazon was- and I found it. It’s only $13,699.98 $17,749 and you get free shipping! What more could you ask for? It has “Integrated heavy-duty rotisserie system with chain-driven, whisper-quiet operation produces hassle-free results to expand your grilling repertoire”, so if that’ what you’re looking for, this is a winner!
7) For the Mr. Fix-it Dad
I have learned that even if Dad already has a drill- it’s usually not the right one or the cool one or it has lost its charge. This Ryobi drill is corded, so it is ready to go whenever Dad needs it.
8) For the Dad being promoted to Grandpa!
There are a hundred different ways to let grandparents know they are going to have a grandbaby. If you are looking to announce a new addition on Father’s Day then this shirt is a great choice! “Great Dads get promoted to Grandpas”.
9) For the foodie (and drinkie) Dad
Have you heard of Mancrates (no affiliation)? Chaos Dad got one as a gift last year and they are so cool! Dad will receive a wooden crate and a crow bar to break into it! The company fills the crates with your choice of jerky, beer, snacks and even a leather belt making kit, should you be so inclined. Check them out at http://www.mancrates.com.
10) For the gadget Dad
Okay, this is another one I haven’t actually used myself. If your Dad is a gadget guy then these have potential- flashlight gloves! They have a 4.5 star rating on Amazon and are only $16.99 $15.99 ( I can’t believe a price actually went down in 2023!). I can almost guarantee you’ll be the only one with this gift.
No matter the state of quarantine you’re in (hopefully none!) this Father’s Day, I hope you can connect with your dad, your children’s dad or the man who influenced your life in the best of ways this June!

I love so many of these ideas! I have a similar post up today with my Father’s Day gift guide and like to cater to all types of Dad’s. My own Dad definitely likes silly presents!
