Elmer’s Bottle Tree Ranch
As I said above, the Bottle Tree Ranch is a collection of glass bottles. What started as a hobby for Elmer Long became this display of creativity. The Ranch began in the early 2000s and has grown to over 200 trees and more than 1,000 bottles (according to San Bernadino County’s website).

If you are taking Route 66 from east to west, then this might be one of your last major roadside attractions before reaching Santa Monica Pier.
Elmer’s is a two acre ranch that is open from dawn until dusk daily. If the gates are open the Ranch is open!
After fully pulling off the highway to park, we entered the grounds and began to take in our surroundings.
