Seasonal Dining with Minnie Mouse and Friends

What is ‘Seasonal Dining?’ This refers to the theme of Hollywood and Vine and the character’s costumes changing throughout the year (be sure to check for current dates online if the theme is important to you). I have dined at this restaurant three times and each time we met Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Mickey Mouse and Goofy. Scroll on to see them in their costumes!

Silver Screen Dine-

This theme runs from approximately January 5-Mid March. The characters wear their fanciest costumes.

Minnie’s Springtime Dine-

Running about Mid-March through summer, Minnie and friends are in their cheery springtime best, looking very dapper!

Minnie’s Halloween Dine-

Meet the Fab Four in their Halloween costumes from Mid-August until around November 5th. In past years, Goofy has dressed as a cowboy, Minnie is the cutest witch, Mickey is a vampire and Pluto wears a bat shaped dog tag.

Walt Disney's Pluto hugs a child. The child is almost completely hidden by Pluto's arms.
Pluto’s costume is a bit hard to see!

Minnie’s Holiday Dine-

This is the one seasonal dining that I have yet to attend. It usually runs between November 6-January 4th and features the gang in festive holiday costumes.

Food at Hollywood and Vine

Hollywood and Vine is an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet style meal in Disney’s Hollywood Studio. It serves all three meals of the day during the following times:

  • Breakfast 8:30am-10:30am
  • Lunch 11:30am-3:55pm
  • Dinner 4:00pm-8:00pm

Breakfast

Breakfast offerings include things like pancakes, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, assorted egg dishes and more. Pricing is currently $33 for children ages 3-9 and $49 for adults ages 9 and up. (Remember, in Disney adult pricing for meal starts at age 9!) Children 2 and under can eat for free at buffets. This is no longer a Disney Junior themed meal!

Lunch & Dinner

The lunch and dinner menus are currently the same. They feature a carving station, peel and eat shrimp, salad bar, mashed potatoes and more. There are plenty of cakes and cookies for dessert, as well as a soft serve ice cream machine. There is also a kid’s station with things like macaroni and cheese, mini corn dogs and chicken nuggets. These meals cost $44 for kids and $64 for adults.

All meals come with a soft drink, tea, juice or coffee. The restaurant also has an extensive bar menu. They share a bar (and restroom) with the 50’s Primetime Cafe next door.

Pricing does not include gratuity. As of 2025, Hollywood and Vine costs one table service meal credit on the Disney Dining Plan. Annual Passholders can receive 10% off of their regularly priced meal (excludes alcohol).

How to eat at Hollywood and Vine

Hollywood & Vine is located in the Echo Lake area of Hollywood Studios. While they do have a walk-up wait list, it is highly recommended to get Advanced Dining Reservations for this location. ADRs are available beginning 60 days before your visit to the Park. For all of the details on obtaining reservations, see my Disney World Checklist.

Who should dine at Hollywood and Vine?

This is a pricey meal. The food is decent but not something I would pay anywhere near these prices for outside of the Disney bubble. However, this is the only restaurant in Hollywood Studios that provides a character meal. Read all about Disney World character meals here!

A character meal is a great way to meet the characters without waiting in a line! Plus, you are able to sit and enjoy some air conditioning, eat and get rehydrated. Hollywood Studios does have other character meet and greet areas, but most do not have Lightning Lane and get long lines quickly.

So, to answer the above question, who should dine at Hollywood and Vine:

If you care more about food quality than character face time, this is not the place for you. If meeting characters is your main Park day priority, this is the best place to get those hugs, photos and autographs!
