I’ll take my Corona with lime…
Originally posted Spring 2020 Embracing the situation and figuring out how to enjoy Disney World from home. The Coronavirus, Covid-19, will define the year 2020. It has brought with it death, destruction and disappointment. We are so very lucky at my house to be safe & able to work from home. However the multitude of things we are missing out on is getting hard to explain to the kids. First dance competitions, basketball playoffs, 5th grade graduation, time with family, birthday parties, weddings… and perhaps the worst for the kids, we are missing out on a Disney trip. We started with the basics- what is blood and how does it work in our bodies? Keep scrolling for blood and…

This week in homeschooling…
Originally posted May 2020 I always considered homeschooling my kids. I like the idea of teaching them things they are interested in and having the freedom and time to immerse ourselves in a topic. Eventually I decided against this because of a full time job. And also because I knew I could never have enough patience to argue teach my kids when they weren’t feeling it. Cut to 2020 Homeschooling is happening now whether I like it or not! I feel so lucky that we’ve had some crash courses in this over the past few summers (see here for ideas!). My kids are used to me attempting to make things…

The Disney Flag…
Originally posted Spring 2020-Note: All advice is the opinion of this blogger and is pre-COVID-19. As more is known about WDW (Walt Disney World) operating procedures I will try to update these posts. UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2023 Overwhelmed at where to begin planning a Walt Disney World vacation? Never fear! The Chaos Manager is here! Read on for my favorite planning resources for Disney. I realized that I’ve been writing (or thinking about writing) this blog for a year and a half now and have yet to let my Disney flag fly. Well, I’m flying it high now, we are definitely one of those Disney families! ***Some links are affiliate links…
